The Kraxn

Imagine: a completely dark tent …  you sit on a wooden construction and off you go: The film starts, four scouts stand on poles and jump. You are shaken, it gets wet, and it smells like flowers … this is our form of pure cinema experience, the Kraxn.

The Kraxn is at the PUR and will be open on all program days.

The scouts of Linz 2 already had the idea to build a moving action cinema back in 2001, when the international camp “b.open” took place in St. Gilgen at Lake Wolfgangsee. “Some people of our group had the idea of building a cinema ourselves and so we did it” says Felix Auer, responsible technician.
